We are currently looking for an Engineering Principal to enhance our team. You will start your career at Miebach by collaborating with Clients and Project Teams to enhance supply chain efficiency. You will play a part in assessing current processes and shaping the optimal design for the future.
This role presents an excellent career opportunity to develop supply chain modelling and design skills in multiple industries in an international environment. This position requires domestic travel depending on project requirements.
Mission:
To oversee the successful execution of projects, managing and leading teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of solutions that meet client requirements. Responsible for the quality check of the project deliverables. Management of the project teams to achieve project objectives in line with the company's commitment to providing cost-effective solutions.
Duties / Responsibilities:
· Data analysis: Overseeing the collection, analysis and presentation of data to customers. Analyse the coherence of the deliverables by the project Team.
· Project methodology: Propose a project methodology according with the project calendar and the available resources. Guide the team to follow the methodology with the quality and the timing expected.
· Project Planning: Develop and oversee comprehensive warehouse project plans, encompassing project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation. Ensure all aspects of the project are well-defined and aligned with client expectations.
· Resource Management: Calculated the resources the impacts about the project accomplish and the budget.
· Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact with clients, establishing strong and transparent communication channels. Understand client requirements and maintain a client-focused approach throughout the project.
· Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality control processes, standards, and best practices to ensure that project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations and industry benchmarks.
· Budget Oversight: Manage project budgets and financial resources, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and optimizing resource allocation.
· Scope Management: Maintain a clear understanding of project scope and objectives, and manage changes effectively to prevent scope creep. Communicate changes to the project team and clients to ensure alignment.
· Conflict Resolution: Address conflicts within project teams or with clients in a constructive and professional manner, promoting collaboration and a positive working environment.
· Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and action plans. Ensure that documentation is accessible to project team members and clients.
· Business Development: Act as an ambassador for Miebach in the market, identifying project opportunities and contributing to continued brand awareness and marketing activities
Qualifications and Skills / Experience:
Bachelors or master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics and a minimum of 7+ years of relevant engineering supply chain industry experience is required.
More than 7 years’ experience leading projects in the logistics and warehouse domain, Supply Chain Engineering Consulting or Logistic integrator. Knowledge and expertise in the areas of warehouse automation, distribution centre design, production logistics, tendering, implementation and go-live.
Excellent written/oral communication skills in the English language, strong problem solving and project management skills.
Evidence of stakeholder management at all levels
Team player with ability to work in cross functional and multinational teams.
Advanced skill with MS Office suite, especially PowerBI, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
Interpersonal, communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
